CALL FOR MEMORIAL AND TEAM REGISTRATION
NEPAL NATIONAL ROUND-PHILIP C. JESSUP INTERNATIONAL LAW MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2026
All students of the School of Law, Lumbini Buddhist University are hereby informed that the University intends to participate in the Nepal National Round of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2026.
Interested students are invited to submit their names for Memorial and Team Registration and consideration for selection of the University Jessup Moot Court Team.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements under the Official Jessup Rules. A Team may consist of 2 to 5 eligible members. In particular, an applicant:
o must be pursuing an eligible degree/programme in law, international law, or international relations; and
o Must meet all applicable requirements under the Official Rules.
Important: A student is not eligible if they have previously participated as a judge, either of Memorials or in any Moot, at any level of the Competition or in a previous Jessup Competition.
Memorial and Team Requirements
Selected students will be required to prepare the Applicant and Respondent Memorials in accordance with the Official Jessup Rules, including applicable requirements on research, writing, formatting, citations, and submission. The substantive work of the Team must be completed by registered Team Members in accordance with the Rules.
